Journey to Rabadan 2025
Our favourite Carnival is back: are you ready? This year Bellinzona's Rabadan will feature chariots about Artificial Intelligence, the (wrong) Swiss social security projections, Nemo the singer, hypnosis and much more! Let's then have a 17th expedition to Bellinzona, capital town of Italian speaking Switzerland, where the music and chaos of more than 50 Carnival chariots collide with the majesty and elegance of the fortified town.
As usual, the idea is to have a warm-up hike in the morning, before attending the parade in the afternoon and finishing the day with dinner at the Cat Cellar.
The hike will likely be somewhere around Giubiasco (we'll post the exact route closer to the date, once we know what the weather is like)

PS: once again, the Carnival ticket entitles us to free train transportation across Canton Ticino (i.e. Italian-speaking Switzerland). This may not be very useful, if the journey is via the Gotthard tunnel, but can come in handy when travelling via Airolo.
