Wein-Werte and NINO drinks invite you to a Dry January wine proxies tasting on Friday 17 January from 7 to 9 p.m. in the Kochnische of the Markthalle, Basel. Wine proxies are a new segment of no- or low-alcohol drinks made with ingredients such as fermented and non-fermented fruit and vegetable juices, teas, and botanicals. Their aim is to provide complex, food-friendly beverages without the drawbacks of wine. This tasting will introduce you to the products of Feral (Italy) and Muri (Denmark), the two leading European wine proxy makers, as well as the proxies of Basel’s own NINO drinks. Guest producers from Australia and Austria round off the offer. Apéro snacks will be provided by the international team of the Resto du Coeur. A perfect start to or pause in the Basel Museums Night!
