The sprawling metropolis is a vibrant city known for being one of the important entertainment, financial, industrial, transportation, and commercial hubs of the Indonesian archipelago but also for its delicious local food, rich culture, and much more! With the Suroboyo, shuttle, city bus services, Anggunas (shared taxis), pedicabs (cycle rickshaws), and commuter rail services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in more residential areas of Surabaya such as Kenjeran, for example, which are a 20-minute drive away from Surabaya’s center.

It's a really helpful site: Via InterNations, we found an international playgroup for our kids (6 and 8 years old) here in Jakarta.
