Advice for 2 expecting parents (UK->Brazil) (São Paulo)

Hey everyone.

My partner and I are expecting our first child in June and we're so keen to be in/birth the child in Brazil. We love the culture and having automatic citizenship for the child (and the potential for us too later down the line) are major factors.

We're from the UK though we're living in Spain currently.

We have some concerns largely because we don't know what we don't know:

- Will we need an immigration lawyer?
- Do we need any particular visa, other than a 3 month tourist visa?
- Is there anything else we're missing completely?

We're keen on Florianopolis and we will pay for healthcare (private - it seems $5k+ is fairly typical from other forums I've seen).

Any advice or suggestions are most welcome 🙏
