There’s no doubt about it: Salzburg is like something from a fairytale. The ”Salt Fortress” is a beautiful city known for its baroque architecture, historic center, scenic Alpine surroundings, rich culture, three universities, and much more! With the eco-friendly public transportation system that includes electrically powered trolleys as well as buses, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in districts such as Gneis or Morzg, for example, which are a 30 to 40-minute commute away from Salzburg’s center.
