InterNations — A Community for American Expats in Quito

Hello to all Americans in Quito! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Quito? Looking for advice from other Americans, e.g. wondering if there are any bars in Quito which will be showing your favorite baseball or American football team’s upcoming match or where to go in town for st■ turkey?

There’s no doubt about it: Quito is a picturesque city squeezed between mountain peaks . The capital of Ecuador is a large city known for being among the first World Cultural Heritage Sites declared by UNESCO, its well-preserved old town, museums, and much more! With the Trole, Metrobus, and Ecovía electric bus lines as well as the Quito metro (set to open in 2020), navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in La Carolina or La Ronda, for example, which are just a short journey away from Quito’s center.

Although Quito has lots to offer, you might be wondering where and how you can meet other Americans in the city. Luckily, InterNations is here to make this easier for you! You’re warmly invited to join the InterNations community. Within our international network in Quito, there’s a vibrant circle of American expats from all regions of USA, including New York City, Los Angeles, and beyond.

An amazing community is waiting for you!
