Hello to all Americans in Porto! Are you interested in getting to know fellow expats in Porto? There’s no doubt about it: Porto has more to offer than just the famous liqueur it gave its name to. The Portuguese “Northern Jewel” is a coastal city known for its stately bridges, delicious pastry, narrow cobbled streets, and much more! With the metro, bus, and funicular services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in the more residential areas such as Foz do Douro, for example, which are simply a bus journey away from Porto’s center.
