I've been looking for a shop where to buy German food here in Bangkok. Fellow expats on InterNations finally told me how to find the right stores.
Hello and Welcome to Our Friendly Expat Community in Phuket!
Sawùt dee and a warm welcome to the InterNations Phuket expat community! Whether you've just arrived in Thailand, or becoming a Phuket expat is still a dream on the horizon, our community is here to make your transition from east to west easier. At InterNations, our dedicated expats have answered many of the questions you're aching to ask, for example, "what kind of jobs can I find in Phuket?" and "what is the cost of living like?". You'll discover that teaching and delivering medical care to tourists are great sources of work, and our members will let you know that Phuket's touristy nature bumps up accommodation prices, but living a little outside of the hotspots or sharing with others brings them back down again.

More Information on Expat Life in Phuket
Complete with white sands, crystal clear seas, Buddhist culture, and an array of low-cost dining options, Phuket is the perfect place for expats to get away from it all. Whether you're coming here to retire or to start a whole new life, you'll soon find yourself immersed in a welcoming expat community filled with people of all ages. While you may find that the salaries are lower than in your home country, there are many ways to make your money go further. Public transportation is cheap, rents just outside the central Phuket area are low, and you can eat out on a small budget. In fact, restaurants like Green Tamarind Kitchen and The Frying Kiwi Eatery offer fresh food at prices that are low enough to allow you to eat out every day. Rawai and Nai Harn are both popular areas among Phuket expats, although there is no harm in broadening your horizons and trying elsewhere. As for schools, the British International School of Phuket offers a first-class education.
