Living in Paterson, New Jersey

Paterson is the third largest city in New Jersey, and is located in the New York Metropolitan Area. It is a thriving and diverse city which is also known by its nickname as ‘the Silk City’, as a result of it being a major producer of silk during the 19th century. There are a number of attractions in the city, and expats living in Paterson will be able to visit sights such as the Lambert Castle, also known as Belle Vista, as well as the Great Falls National Historical Park, whilst the Eastside Park Historic District features a number of homes with unique architecture and is registered as an important historic location. There are also plenty of opportunities for shopping and leisure, and the city is within easy reach of New York City as well as other major cities in New Jersey.
