Living in Nantong
Nantong is a city in the Jiangsu Province in China and is known as "The Pearl of the River and the Sea" because of its location at the mouth of the Yangtze River. For this reason, it is also an important shipping location for the area. Expats living in Nantong will be able to experience the city’s beautiful scenery, as well as visit locations such as Langshan, known as ‘Wolf Hill’, which is home to a Buddhist temple which is a dedication to a monk from the Song dynasty. Other popular sites include the Cao Gong Zhu Memorial Temple, which is a tribute to a local hero who defended the city against pirates in the 16th century. There are also beautiful gardens as well as the Nantong Museum to explore and numerous opportunities to sample local cuisine and explore shops and retail areas.
