There’s no doubt about it: Moscow is pretty thrilling. The Russian capital is a culturally rich city known for being the seat of Russian power, but also for its beautifully decorated metro stations, the performing arts scene, with the world-famous Bolshoi Theatre and Moscow State Circus being just two examples, and much more! With the comprehensive public transportation network that includes the famous Moscow Metro, buses, trolleybuses, and marshrutky (a type of minibus), navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in residential areas within the Sadovoye Koltso (Garden Ring), such as Chystye Prudy or Patriarshie Prudy, which are typically less than half an hour away from Moscow’s center.
