Filing Taxes in Italy (Milan)

Hey all,

I'm currently on a work visa sponsored by the company, and I've been working since September of last year (6 months). I'm Canadian and I know right now in Canada is tax season, there are taxes to be filed before the end of April.

Being new here, can someone shed some light on this topic in terms of whether or not I have to worry about filing my own personal taxes in Italy? Is anyone in a similar situation? Is it a complicated process for expats? Is so, should I hire an accountant?

If anyone is in the know on this, I'd super appreciate you sharing. Thanks!
