The second-largest Colombian city is a bustling city known for its high-rise cityscape set amid green hills and dramatic peaks, its textile and flower industry, the famous Alumbrados Christmas lights, and much more! With the public transportation network including bus, metro, and hanging cable car services, navigating your way around the city from one place to the next is simple. This also means that if you don’t want to live among the hustle and bustle of the center, you can enjoy a quieter life in some of the municipalities to the south, such as Sabaneta or Envigado, which are up to a 30-minute train ride away from Medellin’s center.
