British single woman to Karachi....am I safe?

Hello all. I am seeking advice regarding a move in September Protected content work. I have worked overseas for many years in Saudi, the Gulf & Asia. Now have a great opportunity in Karachi but I am a little nervous. I will be working in the DHA area of Karachi. Is this a safe place for me to love in work being a single British woman. I would be extremely grateful for any insight or advice into this matter. Have previously travelled to Pakistan with work but comprehend living there may be a totally different thing so any advice would be very gratefully appreciated. Regards Denise.
