In addition to our overall country ranking, based on the responses from all survey participants, we also decided to divide the general survey population by gender and compare the two resulting rankings for expat women and men.

Although both genders agree on Ecuador's first place, you will discover some considerable differences when it comes to other destinations. Malta and Thailand, for instance, are much more popular among our female survey participants.
