Did you know that in the Middle Ages, people believed that 14 February marked the start of the birds' mating season? Thanks to Geoffrey Chaucer (yes, the famous poet!), Valentine's Day became synonymous with love and romance—a true “date with a heart.”
Fast forward to 2022, when a clever confectionery maker decided to sweeten the deal by creating candies with fun slogans like ‘WAY 2 GO’, ‘CRUSH IT’, and ‘HIGH FIVE’—a modern twist on love letters, minus the writing!
This Valentine’s Day, why not share some of these sweet sentiments with your Internations friends? Whether it’s ‘CRUSH IT’ for your career buddies, ‘HIGH FIVE’ for the sports fans, or ‘WAY 2 GO’ for the amazing people in your life, let’s celebrate together and maybe even make a little history of our own!
