We are thrilled to celebrate 2025 with you at Maria Pistolas, a venue rich in history and charm.
Originally the city’s first courthouse, it’s fascinating to note that Camilo Castelo Branco was tried here, curiously presided over by the father of Eça de Queiroz. Additionally, it was one of Porto’s first nightclubs, known as Clube Primavera. One of the main rooms in this space was featured in Manoel de Oliveira's film “Porto da Minha Infância,” where the renowned filmmaker selected the title for his classic “Aniki Bobó.” Later, the venue even transformed into a bustling trucking center.
