A Snapshot of Good Old Europe:

It's that time of year for some holiday cheer! 🎄🍷

One of the best things about living in Europe during the festive season is gathering with friends to savor the warmth of glühwein, potato pancakes like Kartoffelpuffer, hearty schnitzels, and sizzling sausages at the Christmas markets. It’s all about coming together, bundling up against the chill, and enjoying a hot drink as snowflakes fall.

Although we are on the other side of the globe we can explore the festive market stalls filled with unique, handmade gifts perfect for the season, along with delicious treats like Christollen and other freshly baked goodies, as well as local arts and crafts.

And for those with a sweet tooth, there’s always coffee and cake to enjoy while listening to the sounds of local school musicians playing classical and orchestral music. Their performances create a nostalgic, heartwarming atmosphere that takes you back in time.
