InterNations Fiesta Día De Muertos: Celebrate, Reflect, Connect
It’s a time for celebration, reflection, and connection, filled with music, food, and beautiful altars.
To make this event extra special, we encourage everyone to dress up as the Mexicans do. Think colorful calaveras skulls, la Catrina, the skeleton lady in an elegant dress, El Charro, the black horseman, complete with a sombrero and embroidered jacket, La Llorona, the ghostly figure from Mexican folklore, dressed in a flowing white gown, representing mourning and loss, or Alebrijes the fantastical, colorful spirit animals from Mexican folk art. Frida Kahlo can be an inspiration too, with her vibrant traditional clothing and floral headpieces.
These costumes will bring the essence of Mexican culture and Día de Muertos to life at your celebration!
Let your creativity flow and join us in celebrating life and memory in a fun, festive way!
We can’t wait to see you there!
Spooky regards
