"You have to know the past to understand the present." (Carl Sagan). This time, we will visit the Huis van Alijn, a captivating museum located in an almshouse on the Leie waterfront founded in the 14th century. This institution features old toys, shop interiors, family life snapshots... from the recent and distant past. A back to the past experience guaranteed. After the visit, we will head to the café where we can have a refreshing local drink, hopefully on the terrace.
