Born Armando Christian Pérez, Pitbull rose to fame in 2004 with his debut album "M.I.A.M.I." Known as Mr. Worldwide, he has captivated audiences globally with his unique blend of Latin-infused beats and catchy lyrics. Pitbull's performance will cap off an action-packed day on the Forty Acres.
Beginning at 1 p.m., the SEC Celebration will feature interactive games and activities for the entire family, including a Ferris wheel, giant fun slide, Longhorn’s inflatable games, and more!
Among the day's highlights will be the official SEC Ceremony at the UT Tower at 8:30 p.m. This ceremony will mark a historic moment as the Longhorns are officially welcomed into the SEC, followed by a fireworks show from the Tower. Pitbull's performance will immediately follow the SEC Ceremony.
In addition to activities at the Tower, Main Mall and 21st Street, fans can experience the Forty Acres with free activities presented by University museums and centers — including the LBJ Presidential Library, Texas Science & Natural History Museum and Blanton Museum of Art — from 1 to 5 p.m.
Parking for the event will be free in designated University of Texas parking garages and surface lots beginning at 11 a.m.
