The English Christmas Corner!

It’s nearly Christmas so let’s have the English Corner Christmas Party! Please enter the Christmas spirit by wearing Christmas costumes or accessories.

This year it will be in this Irish bar from 8pm on Tuesday December 3rd.

We will be in the downstairs area which has been reserved for our group. Normal bar prices apply. There is also the option to buy food there.

We have had a (small) number of complaints about the noise levels at our events. This is a group where people love to chat and catch up with other people. As a result, when we are in an indoors space the volume level can rise. The only way to handle this would be to restrict the number of people who can attend our events. As consuls (and given that there is always a substantial waiting list for our events) we feel it´s better to allow as many people to attend as we can and not restrict numbers further. Therefore we cannot guarantee that the noise levels will be low at this event even though it is in a large room with a high ceiling.

This is your opportunity to chat with other English-speakers in a relaxed quiet atmosphere. The fluency level varies between the advanced and native speaker.
