"Red Tangles" reveals the history of domestic violence and trauma. Through poetic photographs and sound recordings, the work evokes strong and emotional experience where red represents pain and white represents hope. The work opens the eyes to the threat of violence and encourages empathy and changing social attitudes. The visuals form a coherent narrative based on research and personal
narrative.
