Theatre In-Balance is a Swedish/French theatre company with branches in Malmö Sweden and Paris France, est. Protected content , its own theatre space in Paris and affiliated to renowned mask company Collectif Masque Paris.
Did you know that 40 million years ago the Öresund was a forest of birch trees, that today lies trapped under the sea between Sweden and its neighbours?
Fores(t)empest carries the audience on a dramatic thematic journey between land and sea, using Shakespearean text, Latin American traditional fairy tale and modern dialogue blended with puppetry, mime, physical theatre, sound and movement, to create a folk tale of our time.
