Sunday Hike From Trippet Ranch Toward Parker Mesa Overlook

Hello Hikers!

Let's explore Topanga State Park this Sunday afternoon.

MEETING POINT:
Topanga State Park, Protected content Road, Topanga

GPS ADDRESS:
Use Protected content Road. This is across the street from the park entrance.

PARKING
Please park OUTSIDE of the park in case we're not quite back yet when they close the parking lot at sunset.

Make sure all tires are to the right of the white painted line on the road.

Allow 15 minutes to park and walk into the park

START TIME
Plan to arrive by 1:45 to find parking and allow time to walk in to the park
Meet in the parking lot by the restrooms.
We start hiking at 2:00pm
We'll return to our cars by 5:00ish

HIKE DETAILS
The round trip trail from Trippet Ranch Parker Mesa is 7 miles. We'll turn around after approx 2.5 miles so we can get back to our cars before dark. Up and down elevation gain will be approx Protected content .

BRING
* 2 liters of water
* a snack (optional)
* shoes with good traction
* extra layers for when the temperature drops as the sun goes down
