Ready to Join?

Do you want to start the year by learning an exciting new dancing style you haven’t tried yet?

If you’re a beginner, even with zero experience, don’t worry—this is the event for you! There will be a previous dancing class at 20.30, to get you start dancing lindy, followed by a social swing dance party, from 21.30 to 23.30.

So, join us to enjoy in an unforgettable underground atmosphere at a local social center. The vibe is alternative, anti-snob, lively, and welcoming.

There’s a donation-based bar with no set prices. Entry is free. We’ll meet at a nearby bar beforehand to know each other. Please, try to arrive at the previous meeting point at a nearby bar, just to share a drink and a chat with your dancing collegues from In. If not, we might not meet inside the dance venue.

Remember: Swing dances were born in the clubs and dance halls of Harlem, New York, especially in iconic venues like the Savoy Ballroom, during the Great Depression.

They were a cultural expression that combined African traditions with contemporary American dance styles. Great names such as Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Benny Goodman, and Glenn Miller dominated the music scene of the time.

The Lindy Hop is the most famous swing dance. It originated in Harlem in the late Protected content and early Protected content .

Hope you enjoy!
