An IN Tradition - Christmas Market in Alsace
Christmas Market is a tradition in Alsace. This year, we propose to discover a small but original one, in Guebwiller.
The Christmas market is located in front of the Saint Leger Church. Local craftsmen are selling their productions. In front of the Town house, several activities are offered for children (a big Christmas tree, skating-ring, merry-go-round, Santa Claus letterbox, illuminated characters, etc) . Therefore, they are welcome.
And as tradition dictates, we will share a glass of Glühwein.
At 7 pm, starting from Notre Dame Church, we will assist to a traveling show.
Two figures 9 meters high, suspended in the air, glide above our heads. These aerial acrobats seem to defy gravity and mingle with enchanting light shows that captivate young and old. Three Selenites accompany them in a visual symphony. Dreamlike atmosphere with the accompaniment of a West African harp.
After the show, we can end up in a local restaurant to taste Alsatian specialities.
