Hike in Eifel

On Easter Sunday, we go on a hike in the Eifel around the beautiful town of Nideggen.

Facts:
- Distance: approx. 15 km
- Difference in altitude: approx. Protected content
- Difficulty level: Moderately difficult
- Start and finish: Zerkall train station (parking is also possible nearby)

Train connection: The train leaves Dom/HBF from platform 8 at 9:47 a.m. We arrive in Düren Hbf at 10:12 a.m. on platform 1. We change to platform 4a for the train to Zerkall. The train departs at 10:20 and will arrive in Zerkall at 10:50.

We will all start together at 10:50 am at Zerkall station.
Before we return to Cologne, there will be an opportunity to stop for refreshments.
The end of the event will be around 6 pm.

A certain level of fitness is required. We will have breaks, including a lunch break (picnic) - please bring plenty of food, fruits and drinks (there may be no restaurants or stores during the walk) and something to sit on.
Wear walking shoes with good grip, suitable clothing (rain jacket) and bring sun protection.
