Piandaemonium (6 pianos Protected content arrives in Athens with its latest production, after seven years of absence, with three concerts .
The unique piano ensemble, an orchestra of 6 pianos and 12 pianists will present a wide variety of works that will satisfy even the most demanding music lover. In its 25 years of active presence, Piandaemonium has premiered works by Greek composers written specifically for the ensemble, has presented arrangements of great symphonic works, as well as original works in a variety of pianistic combinations.
On November 22nd and 23nd Piandaemonium will present An American in Paris by George Gershwin, 6 Greek Dances by Nikos Skalkottas, Piandaemonium Suite Romeo and Juliette by Sergei Prokofiev arranged by Thodoros Kotepanos. Furthermore, you will hear the original composition Styx by Antonis Anissegos and the collage Languido Scorrevole by George Konstantinou based on the Winterreise of Schubert and compositions by Debussy.
The pianists of this concert are: Charalampos Aggelopoulos, Antonis Anissegos, Kostas Chardas, Evi Giamopoulou, Viktoria Kiazimi, George Konstantinou, Christos Lenoutsos, Maria Mylaraki, Stefanos Nasos, Antonios Selemidis, Stephanos Thomopoulos, Melina Tsinavou, Nikos Zafranas.
