“Massachusetts Dreaming: The Surrealistic World of Rhea Mack” opens on 11th April ( Friday) ( … and take it from there, depending on what everyone feels like ).
Rhea Mack is known for her whimsical coloured pencil drawings. She creates a tender, offbeat universe populated by skeletons, wizards, and celestial beings—a cast of imagined companions she lovingly refers to as her “weirdos.” A lifelong artist and graduate of Montserrat College of Art, she draws her way into another world—a dreamy counterspace that hums with mischief, melancholy, and wonder.
