Set in a women’s institute in Venice in the late Protected content , the film tells the story of Teresa, a young woman with visionary talent, who, together with a small group of extraordinary female musicians, bypasses the centuries and defies the dusty categories of the Ancien Régime by inventing a rebellious, light and modern music. 'Gloria!' is about the imagination and talent of all the many women composers who, like pressed flowers, are hidden in the pages of history.

Margherita Vicario (Rome, Protected content . Director, screenwriter, musician. She has been acting in television series and films for fifteen years now, including Woody Allen’s 'To Rome with Love' and Fausto Brizzi’s 'Pazze di me'. Simultaneously, she has pursued a successful career as an independent singer-songwriter, collaborating with artists such as Elodie, Francesca Michielin, Gaia, Raphael Gualazzi, and Vinicio Capossela. 'Gloria!', presented in competition at the Berlin International Film Festival, is her directorial debut.
