-The 42nd edition of the Prinsengracht concert.
One of the annual highlights in the center of Amsterdam is the free Prinsengracht Concert, a spectacular classical extravaganza. The music is performed on a pontoon on the canal, while the audience listens from boats or the canal side. The event takes place in August outside the Hotel Pulitzer.
