As every year we are delighted to invite you to the opening of the Romanian Film Festival Munich!
The festival takes place in the period Protected content .
The first film of the festival is:
FILM (Road Movie): *HORIA* by Ana-Maria Comănescu
The film, a road movie and coming-of-age story in equal measure, based on a screenplay written by Ana-Maria Comănescu, tells the story of Horia’s journey to maturity. Horia is an almost 18-year-old teenager from a Romanian village who is in love with a girl living on the other side of the country. After a fight with his father, Horia acts impulsively and leaves home on his father’s old Mobra moped. His journey is complicated by Stela, a sharp-witted young girl, and the two are forced by circumstances to travel together and overcome a series of obstacles.
We are pleased to announce that director and screenwriter Ana-Maria Comănescu will be joining us as a special guest. This will be a wonderful opportunity to share your impressions and engage in conversation with her following the screening.
