Strahov Monastery With the Local Monk

Dear all, you are cordially invited to the exclusive guided walk around one of the oldest and most influential monastery in the Czech Republic - Strahov (derived from the word to guard :) .Monasteries were always centres of education and innovation. Especially Strahov library is unique, it holds hundreds of thousands books, manuscripts, royal gifts, curiosities...We will start in richly decorated baroque church of St. Norbert, where his relics are kept. Brother Ambroz - the local monk who is living there is going to take us around monastery premises, share with us the facts not mentioned in guide books and show us the backround as well as festive halls.He has keys... After the tour we can taste the locally brewed delicious dark beer!
