About the author: Patrick Bubna-Litic was a "complex" man, deeply connected to Prague. His father, a Czech aristocrat from an old Czech family, who emigrated after the war. Although he died at an early age and his mother was of a different line, Patrick maintained relationships with both sides of his family. In the Protected content , he broadened his horizons by traveling to Australia, where he studied at prestigious universities and excelled as a student. But he also washed windows to earn money for his studies.
Patrick's art is the art of a man who liked to travel in his inner world. We remember him as someone who liked to play the role of the clown at times, questioning social norms, and his art has something of both of his positions: the serious and the hardworking and the a playful court jester.
The fact that his works have been exhibited at major international art events such as Shanghai Art Protected content SCOPE Art in New York Protected content for itself.
Art in a capitalist environment is judged in part by its market price, and if that's what you're looking for, you won't be disappointed.
Patrick was an artist because he was interested in what moved people, and if his paintings moved the viewer, he was curious why and beamed with enthusiasm.
We invite you to be curious about the art of Patrick Bubna-Litic!
