"My work is characterized by its versatility and duality. These two attributes stem from my life experience and my vision of the world. As a human being and artist, I have held two distinct but complementary perspectives of my circumstances and the space that I exist in. These views have evolved organically. For this reason, in my artistic career, I have found cohesion in depicting contrary yet balanced emotions, whether in abstract expressionism, cartoons, or pop portraits. Each of these three lines of work expresses an aspect of my creative being that is in accordance with the other two."
