Col Du Marchairuz to Mont Tendre
Medium difficulty through the highest point of the Swiss Jura
Towering 1,679 metres above sea level, Mont Tendre is the highest peak in the Swiss Jura and offers superlative Protected content panoramic views.
This picture-postcard panorama is only surpassed by the Protected content views from the summit of Mont Tendre, which extend from the Savoy Alps to the Bernese Alps and from the Vosges to La Dôle.
🏔️ HIKE DETAILS
A beautiful hike of about 670m altitude gain total (some ups and downs).

Duration: 4 to 5 hours total, including a picnic stop at the summit
- The climb is not difficult and is accessible to everyone. To reach the summit it takes about 2h.
Once up there the view is amazing: A 360° panorama.

🚂 Public Transport: There's a postal bus leaving Allaman at 9:32 arriving at the Col du Marchairuz at 10:10.
🚙 Car: parking in front of the Hotel du Col de Marchairuz.
