He is one of those who have left a mark on the history of music. Jean-Michel Jarre has announced an exclusive retro-futuristic concert on Tuesday, July 1st, at Protected content , featuring a monumental and unprecedented stage setup that reconnects with the mega-concerts that have shaped his legend. The event promises to be even more exceptional as the artist, who has sold 85 million albums, has not performed in Belgium for almost ten years. His last appearance in the country was in Protected content the Electronica Tour at Palais 12.
The son of film composer Maurice Jarre and French Resistance fighter France Pejot, Jean-Michel Jarre made a name for himself globally in Protected content the album Oxygène. This international success was confirmed two years later with Équinoxe, released in Protected content . Right from the start, one of his earliest concerts set the tone for his sense of spectacle. "For concerts, from the very beginning of my career, I wanted to break away from the standard of traditional venues," he recalls.
