Europe Unveiled: Celebrating 10 Cultures

Dear members,

Join us to this tribute to ten European communities: Croatia, Denmark, Slovakia, Finland, Ireland, Norway, Basque Country, Portugal, Czech Republic and Sweden.

Get ready to explore over 50 gastronomic stands that will be set up along Av. de Mayo.

Moreover, each community will have its institutional booths to showcase its culture. Some will offer educational workshops, such as an open Czech language class, while others will share their history through art, textiles and crafts.

During the event, you'll be able to enjoy performances highlighting the art of each of the honored countries. The lineup will be diverse, featuring over 20 presentations of dance, music, singing and storytelling.

Among them will be the folk dances of the Sokol ensemble (Czech Republic); those of KUD Proljece and Mala Skola BA; and the Croatian traditional a cappella and folk music of 'Klapa Valovi'; folk dances of Celtic Argentina and Emeraldance; and traditional Celtic music by Telyn Hud and Evergreen (Ireland). Also, the Euskaltzaleak ensemble (Basque Country) will shine with its traditional dances, along with the Choir of the Portuguese Club.

Another highlight will be the narration of the Nordic legend "The Theft of Thor's Hammer" (Denmark), and a show by musician Daniel Inger (Slovenia). Additionally, you can take part in an introductory workshop to nålbinding, a technique of Finnish textile creation.
