You may remember Gus Portokalos from the film "My Big Fat Greek Wedding", claiming that all the words have Greek origin.
According to one of the myths of Greek mythology, Europe (Evropi in Greek) was a beautiful woman, living with god Pan (root of the word panic) in Arcadia. Zeus fell in love with her, he transformed into a taurus and grabbed Europe from Pan's arms. The rest is history.
So here we are now.
