Great Vibe at the Barnes First Friday Jazz Reception each month. Matisse, Picasso, Renoir to Monet.
Enjoy an evening of art, live music, film, cocktails, and light fare at our monthly First Friday mixer. This month’s event is presented in partnership with the Philadelphia Latino Arts & Film Festival (PHLAFF), showcasing the extraordinary work of emerging and established Latine/x/a/o filmmakers, musicians, and artists.
The program on June 7th includes two sets of music from Guachinangos. This diverse group fuses Colombian cumbia and Mexican son jarocho with other Latin American musical traditions. The group’s electrifying energy invites audiences of all backgrounds to sing along and dance to the rhythm.
Tickets can be purchased here.
