Walking Tour “Water and the City” (Eng)
Dear friends,
You are invited to an amazing walking tour by a local Russian engineer , who is passionate about water since an early age.
Water means life and so essential to us and during this walking tour, you will know how water shapes the city, influences our daily life and how it used to be here and abroad, you will have an opportunity to ask questions as well.
We start from a city square, walk along Neglinnaya street to Kuztetsky Most and to Big Theatre’ fountain (all parts of former water supply system). Then we ride two metro st. to cross the Moscow River over Patriarchy bridge. We end up at my Turkish cafe and try his delicious tea (yep, we’re going to make bardak), finally rest from all the walking and engage in chit chatting :).
Dress warmly, the tour will last ~ 2 hours and costs Protected content . It covers tea at café (if you want to try his famous street food - pay at premises).
