Polish Nature Mindfully: the Moose Spotting

Hi Internations Hikers,
Why only use weekends to be in nature? Let's go for a walk and moose spotting on a Tuesday evening! Early spring is a great time to try and spot the moose. The vegetation hasn't grown high yet, the young are big and becoming more independent and the males are growing their velvety antlers back. If you would like to see this amazing mammal or if you would like to learn more about its mysteries, the habitat, feeding, breeding and more. These animals are most active at dusk so making use of longer spring days, we are going to set off for moose spotting on a quiet Tuesday evening.
What do you need?
- waterproof boots/wellies (We might go off the path and in muddy/watery areas)
- clothes in natural colours: olive green, black, brown, grey; please avoid vivid colours, we want to blend into the nature to maximise our chances of spotting this lovely animal 🙂
- clothes suitable for the weather: if it rains, take waterproof jacket with you, and please no umbrellas!
- binoculars will come in handy, but if you don't own it, I will have two to share between the group 🙂
- if you like to take photos, a camera, preferably with telelens
