12 Km Hike at Hald Sø and Hald Slot Ruins

Hi everyone!

Let's take it stille og rolig and have a walk on the shores of Hald lake, south of Viborg. After that we go visit the ruins of the Hald castle, for a bit of culture and nice views over the lake.

We start the trail at "De Fem Halders parkeringsplads" (on Google maps: Påsketræf i Viborg, Ravnsbjergvej 71, Protected content Protected content

Practical info:
- Toilets: there will be a toilet at the parking lot, other than that, only behind the trees in the forest :)
- Please have water, packed food and snacks with you. We will have lunch together along the way on the trails.
- The trails might be muddy, please wear waterproof boots and generally dress appropriately to the weather.

If the forecast will predict a full day of rain, I will cancel the event.

Please note that the starting point is about 1 hour away by car from Aarhus.

I will have 3 spots in my car going from Aarhus, let me know if you need a ride.
