12 Km Hike in Rebild Bakker and Rold Skov

Hey everyone!

Let's enjoy the autumn colors with a nice hike in the Rebild National Park.

The plan for the day is:

- We start with an out-and-back walk of 2 km to Store Blåkilde, starting from the Store Blåkilde Parkering; this is one of Denmark's largest and most water-rich springs with blue waters.

- We then drive to Rebild and park at the car park close to the Rebild Museum. Here we start a 10 km loop trail, going through Rebild Bakker and Rold Skov, which is one of the biggest forests in Denmark. The route is the following: Protected content .

- Rebild has some places to eat, we might go there for dinner afterwards if anybody wants.

Practical info:
- Toilets: there will be a toilet at both parking lots in the plan, other than that, only behind the trees in the forest :)
- Please have water, packed food and snacks with you. We will have lunch together along the way on the trails.
- The trails might be muddy, please wear waterproof boots and generally dress appropriately to the weather.

If the forecast will predict a full day of rain, I will reschedule the event.

Please note that the starting point is about 1 hour and 15 min away from Aarhus.
