The Museum of Photography honors Vivian Maier (New York, Protected content Chicago, Protected content , a governess of children in the United States in the mid-20th century who went through her life in silence and anonymity before being revealed as a photographer after the fortuitous discovery of her work, a brilliant photographic work emerging from the shadows, which tells the story of life. With a selection of Protected content and videos, the Anthology exhibition allows us to grasp the breadth of the work of Vivian Maier, a self-taught photographer with a passion for images, who invented a language at the crossroads of humanist photography and street photography.

Cette exposition Anthology permet de saisir l’ampleur de l’œuvre de Vivian Maier, photographe autodidacte et passionnée de l’image, qui inventa un langage à la croisée de la photographie humaniste et de la streetphotography.
