Fun Sainte Marguerite
This time we propose to combine nature and culture on the Sainte Marguerite island.
Let's take the 10.30am boat of "Compagnie Horizon " at the end of Quai Laubeuf in Cannes, 20 minutes walk from the train station (trains from Nice Ville to Cannes : 8.44am > 9.23am, 9.16am > 9.56am).
If you are late, there are other boats at 11am and 11.30am.
Coast of return ticket : 18 euros
The boat journey to the island is 15 minutes long.
Our meeting point : 11am at the entrance of the "Fort Royal "
1/ Visit of the "Fort Royal " and the museum with the famous Iron mask prison (entrance 6,50 euros)
2/ Picnic on the beach
3/ Afternoon walk : "Étang du Bataguier" , "Pointe du dragon", Maison de l'ONF
4/ Possibility to swim and snorkel to watch the underwater sculptures at the Ecomuseum
Return journey : boats to Cannes at 3.15pm, 4.15pm, 5pm and 6pm
