Japan Matsuri - 11th Edition of Japanese Festival in Bellinzona
The Japan Matsuri Protected content Bellinzona, held at Espo Centro from September Protected content , is a vibrant celebration of Japanese culture. ("Matsuri" means "festival" in Japanese by the way!)
The event features traditional performances, workshops, martial arts demonstrations, cosplay contests, and a range of Japanese food and desserts. Visitors can also enjoy shiatsu massages and kimono rentals.
We plan to watch the following two Japanese groups perform on the second day, Sunday, September 22.
Sunday, Sep 22
1) 1:45 PM - Manjushaka
2) 4:10 PM - Takarabune
Let's meet 30 minutes before the show starts and visit the booths together. Questions about Japanese culture are welcome!
(They will also perform on the first day (Saturday), but one at 4pm and the other at 8pm. We don’t want to wait 4 hours in between so we decided to visit on the 2nd day.)
