Django Drom

Dear All,

For those who appreciate Django Reinhardt and Gipsy Jazz, here is a double take:

First, Nando Reinhardt Trio.
The glorious grandson will be joined on stage by local Gypsy Jazz stars Gidon Oechsner and Daniel Schober, whom you might have seen in concert already with local Gypsy Jazz band Gewurztraminer.

Second, Wawau Adler trio featuring Jan Prax.
German Jazz Manouche star Josef 'Wawau' Adler moved to Vienna last Summer, to our delight. He will be joined by his saxophonist and composer friend Jan Prax, and two other local guitarists from the very best, Joschi Schneeberger and Julian Wohlmuth.

This concert is the first of the three-day festival Django Drom at the prestigious Porgy and Bess. The other two evenings are equally interesting with Belle Affaire on Wednesday and the Django Drom Hot Club on Thursday. If you plan to attend the three evenings, you might consider the three-day pass.

Last but not least, if you can't afford the ticket or are unable to attend for whatever reason, the concerts are streamed live on a pay-as-you-wish basis.
