Helsinki Police Symphonic Band: Sons of the Midnight Sun
Come and experience the colorful and abundant fireworks of Finnish wind music! The concert will feature premieres composed for the Helsinki Police Band over the years, as well as a world premiere of Lauri Porra's new commissioned work. The program includes works by Jukka Linkola, Juha Pito, Marzi Nyman and Timo Forsström. The icing on the cake is Timo Alakotila's violin concerto interpreted by the amazing violinist Eeva Oksala.
The concert will be conducted by the chief conductor Sami Ruusuvuori
